Privacy Policy
Arrow Puzzle — Android puzzle game
The short version. Arrow Puzzle stores game progress and preferences locally on your device. Google AdMob is used to serve and measure advertisements and may process advertising and device-related information. The app may also use Google Firebase services for analytics, crash diagnostics, performance monitoring, or push notifications if those SDKs are included and enabled in the installed version. Google Play Games may be used to check sign-in status or display your player name if that feature is enabled.
1. Who we are
Arrow Puzzle is an Android puzzle game. This policy describes information handled by the app and by third-party services that may be integrated into it, including Google AdMob, Google Firebase, and Google Play Games. The developer's use of a Google/Firebase account does not by itself mean every Firebase service is active in the app; only services included and enabled in the released version process data.
2. Information stored on your device
The game may store gameplay progress and preferences in Android's private app storage, including:
- Highest level unlocked and best star rating for each level
- Sound and haptic-feedback preferences
- Whether the first-play tutorial has been shown
- Selected launch animation and language preference
Locally stored progress is not synced to a cloud account unless a future version explicitly adds that feature. Clearing the app's storage or uninstalling the app may delete locally stored progress.
3. Firebase services
Depending on the SDKs included and enabled in the installed version, the app may use these Google Firebase services:
- Firebase Analytics (if enabled): may process app usage events, interactions, app-instance identifiers, device information, and related measurement data.
- Firebase Crashlytics (if enabled): may process crash reports, stack traces, app state, device details, and technical diagnostic information.
- Firebase Performance Monitoring (if enabled): may process app startup, network request, and performance-trace information.
- Firebase Cloud Messaging (if enabled): may process an app-instance or registration token and message-delivery information to deliver push notifications.
These categories apply only if the corresponding SDK is actually included and active in the release. Firebase data handling is subject to Google's applicable terms and policies. See the Firebase Privacy and Security information and the Google Privacy Policy.
4. Advertising (Google AdMob)
The free version of Arrow Puzzle uses Google AdMob to display advertisements. Depending on the released build and ad configuration, formats may include banner ads, interstitial ads, and optional rewarded video ads.
Google and its advertising partners may process information such as the advertising ID, IP address, device and operating-system information, app version, ad views or clicks, approximate location inferred from IP address, and diagnostic or fraud-prevention signals. The information processed can depend on your device settings, region, consent choices, and Google's advertising configuration.
Google's handling of this information is described in the Google Privacy Policy, How Google uses information from apps that use its services, and AdMob privacy information.
5. Advertising consent and privacy choices
Where required, the app uses Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) or another applicable consent flow to present advertising privacy choices. The choices shown and the ads that can be requested depend on your region, applicable law, and the app's implementation. Declining personalised advertising does not necessarily disable all ads; non-personalised or limited ads may still be available where permitted. If the app provides a Settings → Privacy Options entry, you can use it to revisit available choices.
You can also manage advertising ID and ad-personalisation settings through Google Ad Settings and your Android device settings. The actual consent behaviour must match the version of the app that is distributed.
6. Google Play Games
If Google Play Games features are enabled, the app may check sign-in status or display your Play Games profile name. Data processed by Google Play Games is subject to the Google Privacy Policy and the settings associated with your Google account. The app does not claim to upload gameplay progress, achievements, or leaderboard data unless those features are implemented in the released version.
7. Permissions
Depending on the released build and SDKs, the app may use the following permissions:
INTERNET— network access for advertisements and enabled Google services.ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE— to check connectivity where needed.VIBRATE— for optional haptic feedback.POST_NOTIFICATIONS— if the app sends notifications and this permission is required by Android.com.google.android.gms.permission.AD_ID— may be declared by the advertising SDK for advertising-related functions.
The exact permissions depend on the app's final Android manifest and included SDK versions.
8. Children
Arrow Puzzle is described as a general-audience puzzle game and is not specifically directed at children under 13. If the app is marketed to children or includes children in its intended target audience, its Google Play target-audience settings, advertising configuration, SDKs, and data practices must meet the applicable Google Play Families requirements and local law. The developer does not knowingly use the game to collect personal information directly from children. Contact the developer below if you have a privacy concern.
9. Data sharing, retention, and deletion
The developer does not sell personal information. Information may be processed by Google through AdMob, Firebase services enabled in the app, or Google Play Games as described above. Retention and deletion of information processed by these services are subject to the relevant Google service settings, policies, and retention practices. Local game data can generally be removed by clearing the app's storage or uninstalling the app. You can manage Google account and advertising choices using Google My Account.
10. Security
Android app storage is protected by the operating system's app-isolation mechanisms. Communications with Google services generally use encrypted network connections. No internet-connected service can guarantee absolute security.
11. Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated when app features, SDKs, or legal requirements change. The revised policy will be posted at this URL with an updated effective date. Please review it periodically.
12. Contact
Questions about this policy or privacy requests can be sent to gopurajesh@gmail.com, or raised through the public issue tracker for the app's source repository.
